Kaj skrbi naše devetošolce?

What if we aren’t able to go to High school?

What if my family or friends get ill and die?

What if the world ends?

Tudi otrokom v teh časih ni prizanešeno s skrbmi. Naslednje stvari skrbijo naše devetošolce:

Last night, while I lay thinking here,
some Whatifs crawled inside my ear
and pranced and partied all night long
and sang their same old Whatif song:

What if the hospitals get full and there isn’t any space any more?

What if we write an exam at the end of the school year and I am not good at all?

What if there is not enough food in stores and similar things that you need to be alive?

What if the school doesn’t start soon?

What if we aren’t able to go to High school?

What if my family or friends get ill and die?

What if the world ends?

What if I lose my legs?

What if the quarantine never ends?

What if we all get infected?

What if the coronavirus spreads even more?

What if nobody likes me in middle school?

What if I lose my friends?

What if I have a coronavirus?

What if I don’t see my classmates till the end of school year?

What if the school year extends into the holidays?

What if I am ill?

What if my parrot gets sick?

What if I lose my phone?

What if I lose too many points for high school?

What if this pandemic stays for a long time?

What if I am not able to do everything for school?

What if I forget to do my homework?

What if I forget how to use Future Will and Going to Tense?

What if I don’t finish school?

What if a teacher gives me an F?

What if my brother gets sick and dies?

What if I never get the chance to sing at home?

What if we don’t have Valeta?

Everything seems well, and then
the nighttime Whatifs strike again!
